The chocolate chips actually taste like real chocolate instead of that waxy stuff, and the unsalted peanut butter lets the flavors come through clean. I've already gone through two boxes this month because they're the only bar that doesn't leave that weird chalky film in my mouth.
I usually hate protein bars that taste like chalk, but this one’s actually chewy and satisfying, with the unsalted peanut butter letting the chocolate chips do the sweet talking. A whole box of ten means I can grab one on the way out the door without thinking twice.
The chocolate chips are scattered evenly through every bite, so you get that rich cocoa hit without it overpowering the peanut butter.
